In this process, I have set my mind to this particular colour scheme because I intentionally wanted to incorporate a range of colours into the design. The idea is that sustainable design is not ugly. We are not supposed to stick to the restricting colours of green and brown, we can be free to choose different colours.
The hardest part of the initial design was finding the right "title" for conference while being able to match the colour scheme. My original title was "CAN YOU HEAR THE ECO?" and I had to change that to be able to cater to the theme of the design. I tried "THERE IS NO PLANET B" and first thought this was not working because I wanted to emphasise on "PLANET B" to sort of look like it's saying "PLAN B" by trying to hide letters.
Eventually came up with this idea slowly through testing and experiment.
This was the end of my initial idea for the first interim.
